Free DSAR Template
A Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) is a legal request made under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
It allows individuals to ask organisations for a copy of the personal data they hold about them.
A DSAR can be used to obtain information such as call recordings, emails, complaint records, internal notes, account information and other personal data.
Organisations are generally required to respond within one calendar month of receiving a valid request.
A DSAR may be useful if:
• You are involved in a complaint or dispute
• You want access to call recordings
• You wish to obtain internal notes about your account
• You are challenging inaccurate information on your credit file
• You are involved in an employment dispute
